Based on a series of data monitoring daily rainfall and total monthly rainfall using statistical methods, the study has partly evaluated the characteristics of rain during the spring period in the North. The results show that the Northern region has a clear differentiation in the start of the rainy season as follows: For the Northwest region and the eastern part of the Hoang Lien Son range, the rainy season comes quite early from the first half. March; The remaining areas of the Northeast and the Northern Delta have rain from the second half of April to the first half of May. In addition, the rainfall pattern and total spring rainfall in the Northern region show an increase in rainfall. gradually from March to May and the number of heavy rainy days is concentrated mainly in the May period. The characteristics of rain in the spring period partly reflect the climatic rules in the Northern region through Evaluation factors such as number of days without rain, CDD, CWD, Rx1day R50 and especially during this period in the North, there is also the phenomenon of drizzle.
